Spring has Sprung

It's been the longest winter of my life thus far, well, at least of my adult life. Chris and I have been working and trying to keep busy. We're broke along with the rest of the world, but all in all, what is there to complain about? Other than the snow and the lack of sun.
XC Skies is rock'n and we've gotten lots of new subscriptions. Hopefully this means that we'll be on the road a bit this summer. To my family, who is not exactly sure of Chris's profession: This does not mean that we are rolling in the green, no, you are way off-not even close. This means that we are living in our truck, smelly and covered in launch dust (which in all honesty is my preferred past time). So please don't get your blood pressure in a frenzy because you're under the impression that we are ignoring you. No, instead think of Chris and I-and Dyggs and Eighty, as a door to door sales family. We travel to promote, and we are very lucky to Love this life.
Yesterday was our first tow of the season. After much too much communication and clarification we had two great tows -I'm still the best tow job in town.
Our first go started with Chris on tow at about six feet above the ground for about 1000 feet in distance. It was truly impressive, him hovering the ground and staying centered between the barbed wire fences on both sides of the road. We've decided that our problem was birthed out of way too much communication. Our conclusion was this: Just let a girl do what she knows how to do best.

would you still be my friend?

I have to give props to my Father in Law, who, by the way is Brilliant, because it was his idea that Chris and I should purchase an AirStream and travel the world.
I'm thinking that 3 cats and 2 dogs would be considered a true $hit show- a term that Chris commonly uses lovingly towards me when referring my uncanny ability forget, spill, drop, break, lose, change clothes at the last minute and so on as I'm trying to accomplish tasks.
So as long as I'm all ready a $hit show, why not add the family? They're the ones who cause my behavior, so why not embrace them in a 200 sf silver bullet.. on the beach? Yes, the beach always makes the impossible possible.

He says: "Any monkey can fix it"
Sarah: "Yeah...'cause it doesn't turn on!!!"
Minutes pass.
Chris: "You don't use the cold anyway, right?"

I've lost my funnybone
I have no excuse.
To be brutally honest, this is the very worst time of the year for me. I usually will myself through these last couple of winter months by wondering the countryside of Mexico, usually with some sort of purpose, like looking for a ride- or more likely a road to find a ride upon. Perhaps I'm in search of Chris or possibly a taco, but on most occasions my ambition is to find a stealthy place to cop'a squat. Either way, whatever it is that I'm attempting during those times of wandering, I would bet the farm that I'm ecstatic to be doing it. I guess that I'm admitting to being a person who is very easily impressed with her surroundings, given they are lacking in snow, specifically dirty February snow.
So Instead of wandering the countryside, I've been busy grasping onto the thin strand of sanity inherited from my mother by filling my days with the mundane habits of life, mostly chasing Eighty around yelling "No!.." (fill in the blank), and working- which is pretty non-existent. Nothing to write home about, literally. Although, I did recently learn how to milk a cow, put a turkey into a trance and examine a sheep's uvula for pregnancy; I'm really hoping to come back as a farmer in my next go'around.
Chris and I are in the process of "jacking up the house". Thus far, there has been a bit of humor involved- there's nothing like watching a marble role across the floor- the wrong direction. I'll write about this later, when it's in past tense.
For now, watch this clip. It's titled: Everything is so amazing and nobody is happy.... (Ironic)

The Bomb Digity
What I have been doing in my wake of silence will come to many of you as a surprise. I've been pounding the pavement in search of a paying job. I've been a bum for the past couple.. o.k., few month's, and it's time for me to jump back into the world of 'useful people'. It seems that all of my pig, goat and sheep pooh shoveling- yes serious- is not contributing to the world of respectable people. I can't see why not, in my mind there’s nothing more respectable than someone decked in Carhartts and Muck-me boots, even better if they have horse pooh in their hair.
I had every intention of using my 2 degrees and working for a city entity or at least the likes of one. But lucky for me, the City of Fort Collins has put a freeze on all hiring! And I can admit that I am sooo relieved. I would have had to quadruple my crazy pill intake in order to keep from loosing the rest of my mind under a dusty desk in a 4x4 foot cubicle.
So instead, I took an office in the best yoga studio of Fort Collins. Yes, Massage. I'm back. But with much more control this time. The kind of control that says “if you look at me wrong, I have every right to kick your nasty $## and dispose of your body in what ever way I see fit.” Yes, this is all documented in my medical intake form. Binding and legal.
The point of this post is not to go on and on about me, really it's to brag about the incredibly artistic talent that the Galli men hold. I've been working on revamping my business card, because I’m again a business card toter- now that’s a useful person, and at about 2 a.m. last night, I was at a total design loss. I decided to ask Nathan, my talented- beyond- belief- brother-in-law, for his advise.
And Lo and behold, this is what showed up in my inbox-Perfection:
So I guess, here's to real life. Thank You Nathan. You're the Bomb-Digity.
